FTMO Programmes: 1-Step, 2-Step, Instant and Futures Paths

FTMO funded-account searches can refer to several different journeys. The useful first question is which product is named, then which stage the reader has actually reached. This guide checks selected official descriptions on 24 October 2026. It does not rank firms or claim that a particular applicant has been accepted.

FTMO account sizes, fee refunds and Reward request dates

The CFD Challenge label does not describe every route

FTMO's current CFD FAQ separates the 1-Step and 2-Step Challenge products. In 1-Step, the evaluation ends with the Challenge phase once its objectives are met and trades are closed. The 2-Step route also requires Verification. Results still need to be confirmed before the subsequent FTMO Account stage. Passing the first phase of 2-Step is therefore different from finishing that evaluation.

The CFD Instant Account takes a separate route without Challenge or Verification phases. Its trading objectives and consistency requirement still apply; the FAQ connects FTMO Trader status to approval of the first Reward. Instant is a named product, rather than a promise of unrestricted money or an automatic payment.

Read Futures as a separate product family

The official FTMO Futures FAQ describes Evaluation followed by a Sim-Funded Account. Identity verification and the applicable Sim-Funded agreement sit between those stages. A later Live Funded invitation is discretionary and described as available to a selected group. It is not the same event as passing Evaluation.

Keep those Futures labels separate from CFD Challenge, Verification and Instant. This avoids importing a phase count, drawdown method or reward rule from the wrong product. The table is a route map from the cited pages, not a substitute for all objectives, contracts or country restrictions.

A worked stage check before comparing programmes

Consider a fictional reader who has met the objectives of a CFD 2-Step Challenge but has not started Verification. Their record should say Challenge completed, Verification outstanding. It should not say Live Funded approved. A second fictional reader viewing the Futures route should record Sim-Funded as its next named stage and leave any Live Funded invitation unconfirmed.

For a Canadian record-keeping context, retain the product name and the actual billing currency exactly as displayed. A CAD bookkeeping total does not change the product or prove Canadian eligibility. No account size, exchange rate, tax treatment or personal approval is inferred here.

Five fields that make a comparison useful

Write down the official product URL, product family, current stage, next required decision and dated rule version. Add the applicable country conditions separately. Do this before comparing prices or an alternative programme; otherwise a one-phase label can be compared with a completely different stage or environment.

The existing FTMO fee-and-size article on this site addresses a different question. This page addresses programme paths. The optional sponsored HashHedge invitation below has its own conditions, and neither FTMO access nor FTMO results transfer to that provider.
