FTMO Fee Refunds and Account Sizes: Match the Exact Product

A search for an FTMO fee refund or a particular account size needs the exact product first. The published conditions differ between 2-Step, 1-Step and Instant. This source guide checks selected descriptions on 23 October 2026 and keeps a purchase, refund condition, Reward request and received payment separate. No FTMO account or payout was tested.

Match the named product and displayed USD choices

The cited FTMO overview lists USD 10,000, 25,000, 50,000, 100,000 and 200,000 for its 1-Step and 2-Step Challenge choices. Its separate Instant section lists USD 5,000, 10,000, 25,000, 50,000 and 100,000. A search for a $5,000 challenge should therefore not turn the displayed $5,000 Instant choice into a verified $5,000 Challenge offer.

The same cited Challenge lists do not show a single USD 500,000 purchase choice. That bounded observation does not decide separate allocation, scaling, currency or another product. Confirm the actual current selector and agreement before paying. The descriptions here concern the named products on this overview; they do not establish all FTMO Futures terms or a Canadian applicant’s eligibility.

Read the fee refund condition by product

FTMO’s refund FAQ says the initial 2-Step purchase fee is refunded when the first Reward withdrawal is requested, using the original payment method. The same FAQ says the 1-Step Challenge and Instant entry fees are non-refundable. Retain the product and purchased conditions rather than applying a general refundable-fee headline to every route.

A policy statement is not proof that a particular person received a refund. Keep the original purchase amount, currency and payment reference privately, then reconcile any actual credit. No legal entitlement, tax treatment or personal refund outcome is determined by this article. FTMO source links are informational; the sponsored HashHedge invitation below has its own programme conditions.

Fourteen days is a request condition, not an automatic receipt

The cited Reward FAQ allows a request on the 14 th or a later day after the first trade on the particular account, with open positions and pending orders closed. It describes account review and a subsequent approval/invoice process. A query such as payout bi weekly should not become a promise of an automatic payment every second calendar week.

An account’s first trade, purchase date, request, approval and receipt are different timestamps. Save the actual applicable clock and observed status for each. The FAQ’s stated processing periods are provider descriptions, not verified delivery for the reader. A request marked submitted remains separate from a completed payment.

Reconcile a fictional Canadian reporting example

Suppose an illustrative purchase is 100 USD and the supplied card debit is 136 CAD. Later, a supplied refund record returns 100 USD with an actual CAD credit of 134. The original-currency amounts match, while the Canadian cash difference is minus 2 CAD. The example does not establish why the difference occurred:conversion, charges and their dates need their own evidence.

Do not rewrite the original 136 debit as 134 or label the 2 CAD difference a confirmed provider charge without its source. This site’s existing fee-and-rebate worksheet remains the companion for unique movements and currency units. The example is fictional, not a current FTMO price or exchange rate. Review any HashHedge purchase independently using its actual current rules.
