FTMO 20K Challenge: Identify the Account Currency Before Comparing the Number

A “FTMO 20K challenge” search leaves the currency unspecified. The official comparison page reviewed on 24 October 2026 displays a EUR20,000 account in its two-phase Challenge section. That is different from proving a USD20,000 option, a Canadian-dollar account or personal access to the displayed offer.

Continue with this site's separate research worksheet

Read the amount with its unit and product

The reviewed page labels the account in euros and presents Phase 1 and Phase 2. Keep that account label with the source and check date. The separate How It Works page's displayed USD Challenge choices include $10,000, $25,000, $50,000, $100,000 and $200,000.

These are selected public displays, not an exhaustive catalogue for every currency, product, country or account agreement. A missing option in that USD list is not a finding about every FTMO service.

Three currencies can appear in one comparison

Account currency labels the nominal simulated account. Fee currency labels the amount charged for the service. Reporting currency labels the reader's own comparison. They can differ, and a currency conversion does not create a new native account choice.

For an invented conversion exercise, EUR20,000 multiplied by an assumed 1.10 USD per EUR equals USD22,000. That arithmetic does not establish a USD22,000 FTMO product or a live exchange rate. The assumed conversion is a teaching input, not a provider quote.

Keep a hypothetical result separate from cash

Two per cent of a nominal EUR20,000 amount is EUR400. That is only an arithmetic illustration. It is not a measured return, a permitted risk amount, a payment entitlement or a deposit available for withdrawal.

Any reward or refund would require its own applicable conditions and evidence. Do not subtract a fee from a nominal account size and describe the result as cash owned by the participant.

A Canadian comparison record

Write the programme, account amount and currency, charge amount and currency, and the date and basis of any conversion. If a bank or payment processor supplies a different final conversion, retain that record separately.

A Canadian locale does not establish that the reader is eligible for every displayed product or that the account will be denominated in CAD. The optional HashHedge link concerns a different programme; apply the same unit discipline to its own current terms rather than carrying FTMO labels across.
